Privacy policy
This privacy policy explains how UAB "Absque metus", the company that operates PleasantPresent.com, collects, uses and protects your personal data. We process only the data we need to answer your enquiries and fulfil your orders.
Data controller
Your personal data is controlled by UAB "Absque metus", legal entity code 302781127, VAT code LT100008784819, registered office at Ozo g. 22-23, Vilnius, Lithuania. For any question about your data, contact us at hello@pleasantpresent.com.
Data we collect
When you submit a quote request or contact us, we collect the details you provide — your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the contents of your message or cart. We also receive basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, and, with your consent, analytics data about how the site is used.
How we use your data and our legal basis
We use your contact details to respond to your enquiry and to prepare and fulfil quotes and orders — processing that is necessary to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you. Technical and analytics data is processed on the basis of your consent or our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and improving it. We do not sell your data and do not use it for automated decision-making.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and order data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and to meet accounting and legal obligations under Lithuanian law. Documents with accounting significance are generally kept up to 10 years; enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for a shorter period. Analytics data is retained for a limited time and then aggregated or deleted.
Service providers
To operate the site we rely on trusted service providers that process data on our behalf as processors — Supabase for database and storage, and Vercel for hosting and infrastructure. Where analytics are enabled, Google Analytics may process usage data. We share only the minimum data required and only with providers bound by appropriate data-protection terms. Some providers may process data outside the EU under safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, ask for it to be corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, and request data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email hello@pleasantpresent.com. If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, vdai.lrv.lt).
Cookies
We use essential cookies that the site needs to function, including keeping your cart and session. With your consent we also use analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Declining non-essential cookies does not affect core functionality.
